The first and only folding stock adapter compatible with AR platform rifles.

The Law Tactical Folding Stock Adapter works with direct impingement or gas piston systems and fits A2, carbine, mil-spec or commercial buffer tube and stocks. It can be used with standard bolt carrier groups including: full auto, semi auto, 5.56 to .308.

The Law Tactical Folding Stock Adapter was designed for low profile transport of AR rifles in non-permissive environments. The adapter is ideal for any situation that requires a smaller profile weapon for transport and storage. Simple one-button release folds the stock. To engage, just unfold and fire. The stock automatically locks into place, requiring no fine motor skills.

Designed, built and assembled in the USA from CNC machined, 17-4 steel.

The adapter does not affect gun function when unfolded in the standard fire position. The rear portion of the adapter is built to the same specifications as a standard receiver to ensure maximum compatibility. An integrated single point sling attachment point is included.

I have had my law tactical adapter for about 5 years now and the button that allows the adapter to fold sheared. Law Tactical asked for some photos and sent me a new button free of charge. Amazing quality and craftsmanship!  works flawlessly miles above any competitor even though they're really are none the law tactical is the OG and is the best period don't waste your time or money on anything else because you will be sorely disappointed! I purchased a Gen 3 folding adapter for my first AR build back in June of 2019.  The build is a 300BLK with a 9" barrel.  So, when folded this gun easily fits a backback or a duffel bag.

The folder has held up extremely well.  I have tightened the hinge bolt once, after the first few months, but it has held ever since.

There were only 2 cons for me - 1. It's heavy.  But it's also hardened steel and the action has remained smooth without any mechanical slop.  2. When I purchased the folder I also bought a captured spring system for my buffer.  At the time, Law Tactical did not have an option for a hollow BCG extension, so I had to purchase mine from Anarchy Outdoors.

As far as the product itself?  I would absolutely recommend it.
